Daniel and Zhanna are two high class performers of Latin American Style of Dance, with over 24 years of experience in competing on major platforms all over the world. As professionals and ambassadors of Latin Dance to the worldwide community, their purpose is to ‘take latin dancing further’.
To be successful in this mission it is required to: deliver excellent performances to the international audience by demonstrating depth and contrasting beauty of latin dancing; discover different platforms and bigger stages. Therefore D&Z are looking for collaborations in near industries.
Apart from the integration of Latin dancing into mass culture, it is very important to educate the younger generation with a broader concept. Introduction to the educational workshops and programs for dancers and trainers is on this website.
Each workshop and program contains world’s most efficient training methods from different dance forms and sports that would excel your Latin technique and competition performance, as well as it will bring out a unique style for each student and coach.
DANIEL FALKENBERG | Dancer | Teacher
Daniel is a Colombian native, raised by a traditional Danish family
in Copenhagen. He started to dance because of his natural desire to move to a latin beat and nowadays Daniel is the most successful Colombia-born dancer in the International Style Latin.
Danish National Champion performed in more than 15 different countries representing Denmark at the European and World Championships.
In Juniors, Daniel was a vice-champion in Ballroom, Latin & 10 Dance (2005). He won Youth Latin Danish National championship in 2008, was a finalist of the prestigious Dance Festival in Blackpool in RS Amateurs in 2011, won Ralf Lepehne Trophy (Germany) in 2013, became Danish National amateur vice-champion in 2015. In 2021 he was a British Open Championships Professional RS finalist and also has guested as a Professional with the USA National team at the AL Ultimate Team match championship in the world famous Assen Dance Festival, and won it. He has competed in many of the most important stages around the world, including Royal Albert Hall, London (Amateurs - 2013, Professionals - 2021) and Nippon Budokan, Tokyo (Professionals - 2019) and etc.. Daniel was a medallist and a finalist at the numerous dance festivals and events: Bergen Open Dance Festival AM silver-medalist (2014), Championships GAL & Ralf Lepehne Trophy AM bronze-medalists (2014), Olympiaworld Innsbruck AM silver-medalists (2015), WDC AL Open World Championships Professional RS vice-champion (2019), Assen Dance Festival (Dutch Open Professional RS Championship) silver-medalist (2021) - among others.
ZHANNA SABLINA | Dancer | Journalist
In Juniors Zhanna was a medallist at almost all of the competitions she took part in, won all Moscow Championships and many other different competitions in Russia, Czech Republic, Poland and Ukraine. In Youth she was selected to represent Russia at the World Championship, was a finalist at all major events, became Moscow vice-champion, Russian National vice-champion, finished 4th at the World Championship (16 y.o.). Together with this, Zhanna is a Russian Open Championships winner, XI Polish Open winner, XXI Alassio Italian Open winner, Armenia Dance Festival winner, Caucasus Cup winner, Brno Open winner, German Open Championships semi-finalist (x2), Russian National 10 dance Championship finalist. Besides dancing, she’s finished musical school and took a 6-year education program at the Moscow State University, majored in tv-journalism. While Zhanna was living in Italy for 1,5 years, renewing her dance education in different schools, she was invited to study at the Musical Academy in Milan, but decided to continue competitive career with Daniel. Since then she became (coupled with Daniel) Danish National vice-champion and is nominated from Denmark for representation at the European and World Championships. She is a British Open Championships Professional RS finalist (2021) and also has guested as a Professional with the USA National team at the AL Ultimate Team match championship in the world famous Assen Dance Festival, and won it (2021).
